Immersive experiences and exhibitions in unique locations at the Fuorisalone. Once again, Milan returns to the center of design and innovation with Milan Design Week 2023 .
Until Sunday 23 April, designers, architects, companies and universities will share their vision and solutions for reading the present and shaping the future. Here are some of the key places of this Fuorisalone 2023 .
Alcove 2023
Contemporary design takes center stage in the spaces of the former Brazil Mobile Database slaughterhouse. Now in its fifth edition, Alcova 2023 is a stimulating exhibition that “embraces” talents and projects by presenting more than 70 innovative creations.
Fuorisalone 2023
Visitors will be able to experience an extraordinary journey into contemporary craftsmanship, through the search for sustainable materials and sensorial design explorations.
On the occasion of the Fuorisalone, Capsule Plaza will also unveil the new extension of Spazio Maiocchi.
The line up includes leading names from the Design Industry and international contemporary art, installations by Snarkitecture for Gufram, Byredo Bal d’Afrique, Armature Globale for On Running, Formafantasma for Tacchini, Panter & Tourron for XL Extralight, Willo Perron, Devon Turnbull and Snowcrash, as well as collaborations with Poltrona Frau, Mutina, USM Haller, Flos, Kvadrat, Paulin Paulin Paulin, New Tendency and Grau.
Armani Casa a Palazzo
Giorgio Armani ‘s dialogue with the city of Milan continues. The founder ALB Directory of the fashion house opens the doors of Palazzo Orsini to the public for the first time on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile to present the novelties of the Armani/Casa collection.
During the Milan Design Week you will therefore be able to explore the company’s historic headquarters and admire the products of the brand’s first outdoor line in the hidden garden of the building and some of the most beautiful furniture from the new collection in the luxurious frescoed rooms on the first floor.
